This Thursday, I was planning to attend a “Arts at Baruch” workshop. It would be held at the Masion Hall from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. However, when I arrived there, the Hall was empty. There were several students there also waiting for the workshop. I didn’t know what happened. After waiting for 15 minutes, I left. Because I didn’t attend the workshop, I am going to talk about the Club Fair I attended in September 24th. It belonged to the “Student Life” category, and it was held during my lunchbreak. There were hundreds of people on that day, and dozens of clubs holding their stands. Since I was a freshman, I did not know most of those clubs. However, I visit to the VITA stand and got some very interesting information about the VITA program. Because I will probably take Accounting as my major, joining the VITA program would be very helpful. Several weeks after the workshop, I attended the orientation of the VITA program. Right now, I ove the VITA program so much. At the Club Fair, I also went to the stand of other clubs, such as the Japanese Club and the Billiards &Bowling Club. I was in with bowling, but I was not interested in joining that club. Why? Because it looked like a billiards club more than a bowling club. To tell you the truth, I was very disappointed. There was also a Chess Club in Baruch College. I saw the Chess Club people playing with some other guys. They looked very professional. I could not find out the Table-tennis Club. Later, I found out that club was not actually a club. It was just a play room for anyone who would like to relax for a while. After attending the Club Fair, I learned a lot about Baruch College’s Clubs. I highly recommond this Club Fair to anyone who has an interest.
