i went to a workshop at 11/17/09, which was a gallery tour about Mercedes Matter. she wa a american paniter a,she born 1913 at new york, new york, diez at 2001 in long island, new york. i saw her painting from she was a little girl to her older age. she first painted at age 6 ,which under her father’s supervision. i didn’t understand what is painting about, i just saw many color and many shape, but a introducer told us about her painting, which let me have a little be understand. for examples, i saw a painting that had made by many triangles, each item’ shape is triangle,also the whole painting looked is a triangle, it used a lots of triangle shape to paint, the introuder told us , the painting didn’t use a word or sentence to express their meaning, painting only use different shape, color and texture to express their meaning, it is so diffult to understand which meaning of their painting, but i was attracted by her painting. despite i couldn’t figure out her painting’s meaning, but her painting is so nice and impressed. when we finished the gallery tour, i was trying to figure out why her painted that kind painting, i had do some search about her life, i was expressed by her painting
