November 19th, I attended another business workshop. There were two main reasons for me to attend this workshop, the Job Fair Workshop. The first reason is that I found out business workshops were very helpful after attending the Resume Workshop and the Internship Workshop. Even though I am just a Freshman, I learn to prepare myself from these workshops. The more I get when I am still “fresh”, the greater I will be during my later years at Baruch. The second reason is that I could not find an Academic Enrichment Workshop to attend, so I choose to attend one more business workshop. This Job Fair Workshop happened during my lunchbreak. In order to attend the workshop, I needed to register online for a reservation. The presenters came from the Virison Company, both of them did a great job on that day. I seated in the front row accidentally, and I was so so nervious because I was afraid that they might ask me questions. I like to be a listener, but I am not a good listener. During the workshop, the presenters told us things should do and things should not do at the Job Fair. One day later there would be a Job Fair in the Gym Room, the presenters encouraged us freshmen go to the Job Fair and feel how it is like. The presenters share their own experience with us, and teached us so many useful techniques for a successful conversation. It is my great pleasure to introduce this great workshop to all of you!
