Most people in our class attended the Freshman Reception together on Semptember 17th. The Center for Academic Advisement was crowded with people. One of the staff said that they were expecting twenty people and we had around a hundred fifty. Even though the place was filled with people, we still managed to get answers for what majors or minors are offered at Baruch College and what courses we can register in the following semester. we picked this workshop because it was the most recent workshop and the time was exactly in the gap between our classes. i was expecting to be in an auditorium and staffs talking on the microphone since we had so many people attending. i think most of us received the folder containing the course tiers papers during orientation. This workshop wasn’t quite helpful, but at least took one off our workshop-to-go list. In the sense of easiness, i would recommend this workshop. but if you want to get more detailed information, just take a look at the folder they gave out . Most things they talked about were on the papers and you can find these information on our Baruch website. i read these things on the website before attending the workshop. The things they were talking about wasn’t very surprising to me, but workshop was fun.
