I attended the gallery tour today located on the 22nd street. I didn’t know Baruch has this wonderful place for art. It changed my impression to Baruch because i thought Baruch is only good for business. When I got there, there were a lot of people. First, the tourist introduced about the gallery in Baruch College. Then she brought us to see the photos. The first art she introduced is the Marily Bridges’ Canete Fishing Village. I couldn’t realize that photo is full of trees and plain. It was burly to me. Well, I can say that I don’t know much about art. One picture surprised me the most is Lucien Clergue’s art. That picture has four naked people lying on the floor and the lady told us there are two men and women. First I thought it’s a mountain. Wow, that’s art!
Actually, I attended a second time to that gallery with my friends. I noticed that they changed the painting and everything. It is mostly about an artist who draws angular stuffs to confuse us. My friend and I do not understand about the stuff she talked about. On every painting, she always draws a table and much angular stuff and tabs it together. Maybe I am not an art person so I cannot recognize the figure and the angles. It fills with dark and bright colors to show the attractiveness. When I went there, I did not pay much attention on what the lady says.
