Career Planning: Internship & Goal Settings 11/10/09 VC 3-215
I thought this was one of the most useful workshop I have attened so far. I learned about the STARR Development Center from the coordinator Theresa Conway, who told me help is offered to those who are searching for an internship or full time job after college. This workshop help me to know that help is there whenever I need it, whether or not its for a resume review or a mock interview. There are several events coming up (for those of you who are interested): JP Morgan is coming to Baruch on Thursday at 6pm- 8pm, and yes, you must wear a business attire.
I have not yet decided if I want to look into internships as of now; I still need to know if I can handle the workload or not, but if I know that I can, I will definitely take advantage of the program “Leadership Camp.” I can intern at any company providing this service as a Freshman and committ two summers.
The CDC can review and approve resumes and go over your resumes one on one before you actually mail it to the companies. I will definitely take advantage of this, and their mock interview sessions.

Sounds like a great opportunity. I hope you take it!
