better late than ever

i want to say something about the workshop that we had on thursday 10/08/2009. i think that the fair was helpful not only to me but also to other students. i learned that we have to broaden our network because nowadays networks provide you a job. regarding romantic relationships i learned that every new one should be better than the previous one. the lady who was talking told us that as baruch students we are entitled to free psychological sessions-i might go to one of those, since i have never been to a psychologist, and i think it will be a beautiful and helpful experience. the only flaw  of the workshop was the process making new acquaintances. theoretically it was a good choice for the workshop, but practically it was almost impossible. we were some 200-300 students in that room, and the acquaintances we made, we do not remember, it may have been good thought in the short run sunce it made students reject their shyness, but it’s flawed in the long run since we do not know the new people that we met

One Response to better late than ever

  1. I couldn’t agree more with you! It was a good idea but definitely would’ve worked better if there were only about 50-60 people in the room, you could’ve gotten to know 4-5 people well enough to at least exchange names/facebook so you can get friendlier instead of the chaos it was.
