Hey, I’m just checking in to tell you guys about my experience at school. For a while now, i have just been trying to find my way and I’ve been getting a sense of how the teachers are grading. I think that now that i have looked more into the different resources that Baruch has to offer, i have been feeling a little better about my transition from high school to now. I visited the SACC center for math and writing because they are my the classes that i struggle with the most. They are very helpful and it is easy to schedule an appointment. I am now feeling a little more confident. I am also trying to manage my time a little better, which is helpful because my free time is really good for making up other work and having time to myself. I just need to find more workshops to fulfill my requirement for freshman seminar.
While im at it i may as well blog about the community service that i participated in on Saturday, it was actually really cool, i thought that it was a great way for us to actually talk about other things instead of just focusing on freshman seminar. The other volunteers were nice too, and they seemed very helpful and enthusiastic about the project.I’m really looking forward hearing the class sing at the next trip.
Waaaaaait what? Sing?
Well, I think I should be doing what you’re doing, I seem to be struggling in those classes too…. I think 😀
I’m glad you enjoyed the community service. And thank you for being the first one to comment on your experience at school so far. 🙂 I’m glad you’re finding the SACC center useful. If you need any help managing your time or getting more organized you can always ask me or your instructor Veralyn. Hope everything is well 🙂
