I went to the Student Life workshop: Freshman Reception at 12:30 pm on 9/24/09 in the Gymnasium of the Newman Vertical Campus.
This workshop was time when all the clubs of Baruch get a chance to interact and entice the Baruch student body. I wanted to make the best of my college experience, so i decided to join a club. The Club Fair allowed me to see all the different clubs Baruch has to offer, and that helped me a lot. I was able to talk to several different clubs that caught my interest, and they were all more than happy to give me more information about the clubs. I would definitely recommend this workshop to other students because it’s a great way to learn about all the different clubs available here at Baruch. One thing that surprised me, and that i would warn the other student, is the amount of people that came to Club Fair. The day that i went, the entire gymnasium was packed, and everyone was practically on top of each other.
