The Club Fair 9/24

The club fair was pretty awesome, well at least all of the events following the nasty wait. It was set up in the gym with different booths you could go around to for information, candy, food and drinks.  The red velvet cake caught my attention. In the back area there was a dance off, some culturally influenced and others were based on personal preference such as hip-hop-like dancing. There was also a Dj who seemed pretty cool. The point of the event was to go out and test your interests with the different groups. I stayed mostly at the different sorority tables such as Lambda Nu Sigma, but I also ventured to the ballroom dance groups (Latin and regular), as well as the archery club. Both clubs seemed like fun, casual groups with activities I could pick up as a beginner. I also found out that I could get inducted into a Psychology Honor Society which would be awesome since psych is my intended major. The overall event was organized, exploratory and pretty fun. I would definitely go next year to see what they have or to just enjoy the fun.
