Student Services Fair

I attended the Student Services Fair on October 13th  which fulfilled the personal enrichment requirement. The workshop allowed students to browse the various student services and ask any questions they wished to ask. I selected this workshop because  I figured it would be an easy way to fulfull my personal enrichment requirement and since it’s a fair, it’s an open free-for-all where you can go browse whatever services you’re interested in. This took me out of my comfort zone because we had to go browse at least ten different services in order to get a signature. In some ways it met my requirements as some groups were informative while others didn’t really care as much and just hole-punched the cards. I would recommend it to another student because it helps the student learn things that they might not have known and maybe even get some free stuff. What surprised me was that you had to visit at least ten services in order to get a signature and that it wasn’t as crowded as the club fair. It was an easy and quick way to get the credit for the enrichment workshops while also being able to learn many new things about the services offered at Baruch.
