Freshman Reception

The freshman reception workshop was held on Thursday, September 17 from 12:30-2:00 on the fifth floor. The goal of the workshop was to help students understand the classes available to them, explain required classes, and explain majors and minors. I found the workshop very helpful for many reasons. The handouts we received were very helpful and I felt like they will be a very useful reference. Also I got a few personal questions, about majors and minors, answered. They also redirected me, so I can attain more specific answers about the major I am interested in pursuing.  However, I found it very hectic and over crowded. I found it difficult to to get my questions answered because there were so many students and it became very chaotic.
