Database Survival

Yesterday, the library workshop “Database Survival” was held to provide students with an instruction to use the library’s database effectively. I thought that this workshop was for me because I was having a hard time to start with my research paper. I had decided what to write about, but I didn’t know where and how to find reliable and trustworthy information.
It did help me by giving me exactly what I wanted. It was just amazing to know that the library’s database got surprisingly much information. I also learned effective ways of searching for a certain subject by using “recommended terms,” which appears on the left side of a screen when you type a word, providing more relevant and commonly used terms for that subject, and by checking on a box for “full text” to narrow data down so that you can see only articles with full texts.
I’d like to recommend this workshop to anyone who are unaware of what exactly the library’s database provides for students, especially those who are looking for reliable and safe information.
