Database Survival

This workshop was right after the SACC Math one so it was very convenient for me to attend. It was located right in the middle of the library. Since there were a lot of people in the library, it was very hard to hear what the lady was talking about. Even though I could barely hear her, I was able to understand what she was explaining through the presentation she was giving. I learned a few useful things such as Lexus Nexus and a bunch of other useful databases which are available to us. I also learned that to changing your search words, you can find different types of articles. Such as if you used the word warming in global warming, you would find a more general article about it; however if you used climate change, then you could probably find more scientific articles about it.

This was an alright experience; however, I just didn’t like how it felt unorganized because it was just right in the middle of the library.
