The SACC meeting gave tips on how to pass a math course. A few kids and I managed to accidentally walk into the wrong room for the workshop. The instructor also managed to accidentally be in that same room. We had to change rooms after some girl came in and told us we were in the wrong room (VC 3-3125). we then went to VC 3-2125.
The instructor talked about how students need to study two hours for every hour spent in class, how we can organize our notes by dividing pages in half so we can write questions on one side and explanations on the other side. She also encouraged us to use the tutoring service and stated that you cannot have more than 2 consecutive hours of tutoring at a time, and you can go six hours a week (i think, forgot the exact number). I felt like most of the stuff she covered was review/common sense (no offense). She told us to be organized, eat healthy, not cram, and go to tutoring. I felt that the most helpful part of the workshop was that i gained a better understanding of the tutoring services.
