I went to the Community-Global awareness Workshop: Film Series at 2:50 pm on 10/16/09 in room 5-150 of the Newman Vertical Campus.
In this workshop, we are suppose to watch a old movie, and through this movie, we are suppose to get a better awareness of how the world really is. The reason why i chose this workshop was because it was one of the few Community-Global awarenss workshops left. I do not feel that this workshop took me out of my comfort zone, because all we had to do was sit and watch, nothing else. The movie never got to be played due to the fact that someone wasn’t present at the time, so this workshop did indeed fail my expectations. To recommend this workshop to student, i must first watch the movie myself, which i did not. I did not learn anything from this workshop, for there was nothing to be learned.
