Resume Writing

Resume writing [Starr Career] -took place on 10/27/09 at 12:30 p.m. – was a very informative discussion of how to properly write resumes and cover letters. They gave us tips on how to present ourselves and take care of little things, like making sure our voicemail message clearly states our name so employers don’t make a mistake leaving messages to wrong people in case of a typo or other errors. It was succinct and straight to the point. They clearly knew what they were talking about that no one had any questions regarding resumes and other factors that help in getting a job. It didn’t take me out of my comfort zone because presenter was very friendly and was coherent in her speech that I didn’t need to ask any questions. I would definitely suggest everyone to attend it because resumes play an essential role in how employers view you: it becomes your face when you aren’t there to present yourself.
