The annual student services fair was held on October 13th in the vertical campus room 1-107. This workshop is originally for student life but because I already fulfilled that category this workshop was for personal enrichment. Basically this workshop just offered help and information about different services at baruch. When we entered, we had to enter our social security number and recieved a folder and a card. We had to get at least 10 holes punched in; one for each service station we visited. It was also pretty hectic like the club fair but I actually acquired a lot of information I was originally looking for. One service at baruch that I was really interested in was the study abroad program. They offered many different opportunities to travel and study. However most of those opportunities are given to upperclassmen. That’s something I definitely look forward of getting into. Other than that I got a lot of brochures and handouts from each station and asked a couple of questions. I think this workshop is very important for all incoming students. It helps a lot with questions involving the school’s way of handling things. I recommend everyone to go to this fair at least once because one may never know what this school offers until it is presented to them; as it is in this workshop. It will also help answer any questions about Baruch. This was very productive.
