So far the most striking aspect would have to be the student body.
Granted we do live in NYC, and everyone seems to have their own agenda, but damn people come on!
Whats up with these fraternities? Asian only? Latino only? Where is the GREEK LIFE!? Where is the comradeship?
Where is all the fun?
I understand college is a place of learning and networking but Goddamn.
Everyone appears to be anti-social.
Maybe its just the fact that half of these kids are from the city and are just too naive to know any better, or maybe its just because of the first week jitters – but overall, the student body at baruch appears to be quite lacking in the fun factor as well as in interesting things to do.
The student body appears to be more situated on doing their own thing, rather than doing what is best for the rest of the student body.
These realities are those which make it so I do not want to join any clubs on “campus” or join any extracurricular groups
Just my 2 cents.
