I think the biggest difference is that there is nobody pushing you to complete your work, it is completely up to me to get my work completed. In high school I was able to convince my teachers to extend the deadline for me and to help me with my work; this made my work in high school extremely easy and I could hand in my work whenever I wanted. I need to push myself to finish all my assignments and that will be the hardest transition for me because I have more free time and I want to use it in a productive manner. I have also noticed that some of my classes have many more students then I have ever had in a class room at one time; the professor cannot focus as much individual attention as I would like and this is a difference for me. I think that over the course of the year I will be able to better adjust to the college lifestyle but these differences will not affect me too much throughout the year.
What are some of the differences between classes in high school, and your classes so far?
