Changing America:Sonia Sotomayor

The workshop was actually quite interesting. It had lots of useful and interesting facts. For example, Mexicans are the “new” African Americans. Through out history African Amercians took various jobs that were degrading and sometimes humilating. They were also treated as if ther were less of a person than anyone else. Now Mexicans are taking those jobs and are being treated as bad as African Americans were. Sonia Sotomayor is the first Latino woman and 3rd woman to become Supreme Court Judge. Everyone who knows her think she is a wonderful and friendly woman. Hopefully eveyone will give her a chance and see what she has to offer.
