The workshop was supposed to inform us of ways to balance our relationships in college. For some of us its been a a tough transition and for others it has been smooth. However, the multiple relationships we have are important to maintain and this workshop wanted to help us balance them. I chose to attend this workshop because I have always chosen school over relationships in the past. By doing so I hindered the growth of several relationships with people I was very close to.
The workshop taught me the importance of networking and how social networks will come to benefit me in the future. Networking was never emphasized as much in the past, however as the speaker began to explain its importance I knew why it was so important. This workshop met the expectations I had by addressing the wide ranges of relationships from romance to friendships to family ties that exist in my life. I think that I am beginning to adjust to my surroundings and meshing my college life and my personal life together.
Wow. This workshop seems very interesting. I have too many relationships in college unlike the author. Perhaps thats my problem. I hope I can attend the same workshop or a similar one in the future. Thank you for the posting.
