Club Fair

The title of this workshop is “Club Fair”. It occurred on September 24, 2009 in the Basement. The purpose of this workshop was to help Baruch students become aware of the various clubs available at Baruch. This fair (workshop) was really exciting and important. I learned of the different groups I can be part of and how to really be part of our Baruch community. There were so many clubs that attracted my attention that I didn’t know which ones that I really liked. I can tell that many people had fun, because they were constantly moving from different club presentations.  It is evident that the groups used a lot of time and work to put the whole fair together. There were refreshments from different cultures. Personally, I recall best from the Thai ice tea which was really delicious.

The club fair was really helpful to me. First, it gave me an opportunity to meet new people and make more friends. Furthermore, it gave us students a deeper knowledge of how to be part of Baruch. I believe that my friends who have never attended a club fair should attend. The only thing that was a hassle was that the club was really crowded and the clubs had to accommodate the limited space. But aren’t all fairs crowded? I really enjoyed the fair and I’m sure everyone else had a splendid time as well.
