Joseph O’Connor

I missed the reception that took place before the reading and was kind of disappointed. I like looking forward to free food. I thought the women who was introducing Mr. O’Connor was his wife because I thought that when she said “my husband” she was referring to O’Connor.

O’Connor is a funny man, telling jokes to get the audience’s attention and his readings are very insightful and they appeal to listeners of all ages. I especially like his lament on his love for Patty Smith and her works of music. We had to sit on the floor because all the seats were taken upon our arrival. O’Connor was a funny man and it shows in the way he reads his essays and writing and he made interacting with the audience comfortable and it was an enjoyable evening.
