Relieving stress is a vital part of life because stress can affect someone physically, mentally and emotionally. The workshop helped to find different ways to deal with stress and anger. I seleceted this workshop because I feel like school is stressful. It’s hard to adjust from doing absoulutely nothing senior year of high school to a full workloadin college. I will admit my transition is a lil rough so far. This workshop took me out of my comfort zone during the breathing exercises, everyone was snickering because i guess we were full of enery and to go from being hyper to relaxed in a few minutes can be difficult. I thought the exercise was pointless. The speakers also taught us how to release tension out of our musles by contracting our muscles of a certain area for about 3 seconds then letting go. It is supposed to make us feel better. I owuld reccommend this worskhop to anyone whose interested in medetation. I learned how to mentall y deal with stressĀ  y clearing my mind first an taking deep breaths.
