I NEED TO COMPLAIN.
so today I went to the arts for Baruch workshop and omg I waited almost an hour to get in and I was getting very fustrated with the wait because I am NOT a patient person and I find this very common with the workshops where we have to wait such a long time to actually start the workshop and this waiting is decreasing my motivation to even go to another workshop but thank god I only have one more to do. And also this whole workshop thing is so stupid. I don’t care if I have less time in class because I rather sit in class and talk rather than going to different places different days of the week to GET A STUPID SIGNATURE. god knows some kids don’t even go.. they forge the signature which I don’t really care for but I’m just saying if the point of workshops is for us to learn something our self… well A WORD TO FRESHMEN SEMINAR PEOPLE/TEACHERS/WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE it ain’t working. I even hear one of a peer mentor complaining how the workshop is not going anywhere. So yea I’m done. Have a nice day.

Agree!!!!!!
I was at the art gallery this Tuesday and it was a mes…. people had to wait more than 45 min in line and some of then who got in the lasts were out after 2:30 so they were late to their class….The gallery is amazing and the art that Baruch managed to gather is beautiful but I don’t think the students got to enjoy the experience….because of bead organization.
i agree with you too! It was ridiculous. When i went into the building, i just knew that i was supposed to wait. But i didn’t even know what i was waiting for, and nobody told us that they only let around 20 people in at one time. This workshop really “helps” a lot, and i didn’t know if the workshop deserves the 45 minutes I’ve spent.
Racheal, I really agree with you because we waited outside for like an hour and the whole exhibit only took like 15 minutes. I lost my patience while I was in the line because my bookbag is soo heavy and I am starving. Personally, I did not learn anything that are essential from this workshop.(and I still have to blog about it in order to pass the freshmen seminar) I mean, I do not feel this workshop really necessary since I did not get anything out of it. If the school wants us to learn something about Art, then they should ask us to go to MOMA or other art museums (at least we do not have to wait in the line for during our precious break time).
