Last week I had gone to the art gallery tour and I wasn’t expecting much from it. I never expected Baruch to have an art gallery, especially when its more of a business school. At the art gallery, the tour guide had given us a brief bio on the artist Mercedes Matter and discussed about her art work. She also explained to us what each piece of art work had symbolized and broke down the detail of the painting. Overall, I found that the tour guide had made it boring in a way, but other than that I found it somewhat interesting. It had actually made me look art work differently by not realizing how many things are hidden behind a painting.
