Library Tour
I’m not sure if I’m supposed to be responding to Nick’s posts or if I am supposed to create my own so I’m just going to do both. I believe that the library tour was very helpful. It educated me of the basic sections of the library so I would be able to navigate on my own. This way I wouldn’t have to keep wasting my time, going to the help desk over and over again, for simple questions like, “Where is the printing room?”
Library
Nice. Another place to sleep.
I kid (sort of). I feel that I’m going to be spending a lot of time there.
tour
the library tour was really cool. The library is like one of the most gorgeous ones ive seen so far. I have seen libraries from other CUNY colleges and they were ok but Baruch’s library was by far the best.
Tour
The library tour allowed me to see how useful our library is, and what we have available to us. Nick was a great guide as well.
Library
Very interesting…. learned alot about the library building
Library Tour. What did you think?
As many of you may have probably seen from today’s library tour, Baruch has an amazing library. In fact, the library has won several awards due to the amount of resources it possesses and the level of decor it demonstrates.
Many of us are too busy to step inside a library because of our exhausting work habits or because of our hectic class schedules. What I would like to stress is that you can benefit from these services outside of the physical realm (huh?)— Baruch’s Library provides a website that allows you to use nearly all of its resources). It’s great and easy to use. One of its most powerful search engines, known as Bearcat, can link you to nearly limitless amounts of resources that provide valuable scholarly articles for academic purposes. This happen to be a service that I can’t get enough off.
What are some aspects of the Library that you found most appealing? and why?
How is the first week going?
For those of you that have accepted my invitations to my blog, let me know how things are going. It’s really hard to assimilate to a college setting especially that of Baruch. Some of you will blend in really nice, and for others it may be a tad more difficult. However, I will never know if you don’t let me know. Don’t forget I am here for you guys.
WELCOME!!
I hope you guys had an exciting day at Baruch’s Convocation.
