Last workshop of the year!!!! last blog of the year!! So this last workshop wasn’t what I, and i suspect most people, were thinking. We had a politician speak today. He told us about what it is like being an openly gay politician. I was surprised how much he has accomplished despite all of the hardships he has faced being both gay and mixed nationality. If I were anywhere near somewhat interested in politics his speech would have inspired me to go into politics. It was a good speech though and it shed some light on some interesting issues.
