The freshman meet and greet was the first workshop I had been to, and along with the resume writing workshop probably one of the more useful ones as well. The workshop which was hosted by the center for academic advisement, was a chance to meet your fellow classmates in one of the first weeks of the school year. The staff at the workshop was very friendly, serving drinks and food, they avised us on the courses we should consider for next term and what our academic options where. The center also talked to us about any questions about academics we had and was very helpful especially for freshman students in the early stages of their college academic careers. The workshop was a rewarding experience although it only lasted a few minutes I felt it accomplished a lot.
