i attended the impression management workshop. i learned of what employers and others look for when they first see someone. we were taught the importance of first impressions and what the meaning of our outfits and appearances will portray to others as. i was told that employers who are looking for students for internships or career opportunities want serious and ambitious students. they first judge a student not by their academics or anything because they will always look at you first before they get the chance to read your resume. if they see that a student is not in business attire and is just wearing casual clothes, they will automatically assume that the student is not serious in his or her work and will have a bad impression. i believe this workshop will be very useful in the future.
