I attended a lecture called perspectives on immigration. i learned some pretty interesting facts at this lecture. they talked about mainly Mexican immigrants and Puerto ricans. they also mentioned about African Americans and how these 3 enthnicities interact . depending on the interactions of these 3 elasticities, their education and career will differ was the theory. but based on research and interviews from people of these elasticities over a 20+ year span, the professor was proven wrong and the results were actually quite astoundingly different from the predicted outcome. the professor was to publish a book on this and we were asked of what would be an appropriate title for the book and we had discussions of the topic.
