Freshman Reception

Freshman Reception

Academic Enrichment

September 17, 2009 1 PM (VC 5-215)

The workshop was basically for freshmen so that we could ask any questions about academics, transfer, and requirements to enter the business school.

I selected this workshop so that I could ask questions about the requirements to enter the Zicklin business school, and about Accounting major.

There was a lot of freshmen when it first started, but around 1 PM the room almost emptied. Fortunately, I came in a little later 1 PM and was swiftly able to talk to one of the advisers about the requirements. It was a good workshop, I would recommend this to any other freshmen, who couldn’t catch up with the academic advisers. It’s a good way to start off college with mindful of what to study for and what classes to take.

I learned about the certain GPA and classes that I have to take in order to enter the business school. The room was crowded, and there were only four academic advisers – Baruch College has gotta do something with being crowded everywhere.
