On Tuesday, September 24, 2009, at 12:30 PM, I attended the club fair at the VC building. It was for the Student Life requirement. The workshop was mostly about informing freshmans on the different activities and clubs there are in the campus. The college is trying to make the new students more involved in college life and this goal will be accomplished when the students will start joining clubs. The fair was very helpful for me because I was able to learn about different clubs and make up my mind on which clubs I want to join. I picked the Finance and Economics Society and the Hillel Club. They were the most appealing to me.
The workshop definetly met my expectations in informing the freshmen. Walking out, mostly everyone decided on which clubs to join. Clubs are a very important part of college experience so it is very necessary for Baruch to have these kinds of fairs.
