1. I attended an Ethics workshop
2. The ethics workshop is part of the Student Enrichment Category
3. This event took place on Thursday, September 17th from 1:00 to 2:00
4. It was an interesting workshop, in which the class discussed what they felt was morally right and wrong. in addition the issue of plagiarism was emphasized, and we were told to aoid it.
5. I attended this workshop because i had to start somewhere and this simple and interesting workshop seemed to fit the description. I was quite comfortable talking with the class and discussing issues.
6. Well the workshop discussed right and wrong as well as moral decisions. it met most of my expectations and i would recommend it to another student.
7. Well the workshop allowed me to see that people have different opinions and stands on certain issues. This opened my eyes that everyone views things differently.

UGH! This is my 3rd time trying to post a comment.
The workshop that we were having couple of weeks ago was alright. I can’t say I liked it but I did not hate it either. Or even if I did would I say that here? I’m clueless on how Oleh and Naylay Found this workshop interesting and especially how it would help me with a path Id take in life? I mean if this was the first class on ethics a person ever attended than maybe. But haven’t we all been brainwashed during middle school on all of the “right and wrong” in our decisions? And then all over again in the health class in high school? I certainly was. I stand to believe that there is no one who can guide me better than close friends or family. Not same 18+ year olds like me who are just trying to have fun in this class because they are bored. And what killed it for me at the end was the “Who you going to save?” activity. It was just so average and middle school to me. In my honest opinion they should have given us more examples of real life and most importantly the outcomes of certain paths we choose. Instead they just listened to us and tried to pretend like anyone in the class cared. In the end though, I hope this class was at least educating for 1 person and it wasn’t all just a big waste of time. Thank you and have a great day!
I guess we can just post our thoughts as comments correct?
Well lets start than! I will be honest the workshop we attended few weeks back was an OK. Nothing more. I felt it was even a little childlish. I mean ethics? Seriously? We are all 18+ years old and college students. I’m sure most of us have heared everything covered in that workshop. I thought even the speaker was kind of wondering why are we all there. And those activities? “Who would you rather save?” I remember doing those in middle school and high school. Do we need any more of them? Or maybe they thought everyone would be interested in what other people think? Well unfortunately I wasn’t. I hope that it wasn’t all that bad and maybe couple of people might even learned a thing or two from the workshop, but I did not. And surely it hasn’t put me on any kind of path in the life. Parents are constantly preparing us to face real life by telling whats wrong and whats right. And I’m sure they do a better job than anyone else could.
That’s all and have a good day!
I also attended the ethics workshop on thursday Sept. 17th from 1:00-2:00. It was quite an interesting workshop which expressed the comparison between rights and wrongs. I felt that this was a great workshop to start off with because it talked about ethics which is a big part of choosing which path you take in life. This workshop helped me understand where people come from and different view points for different situations.
