Having taking pre-calculas in junior year of high school, I feel like I still need the review. However, I feel as if I learned much better with my teacher in high school. But then again, it’s something I have to adjust to for the professor is much quicker. However, I do see potential in him to slow down just a little bit and ask if there are any difficulties with the sections we are learning. I do like the idea of the quizzes every week, giving us good time to study and to use those quizzes for preparation for the exams.
Dr. Bergman why is it professers do not care of there students. what we are just a number to them. i eel like you guys only care about you’re pay check and not the students. they just come to teach and leave!
I think you’ll find it to be true in general that college faculty expect you to keep up: they aren’t going to check in with you to see if you’re following what’s going on in class. The onus falls on you to speak up when you are having difficulties, to visit the professor during office hours, or seek tutoring through SAAC. It’s not necessarily the professor’s responsibility to ask, but yours. Good luck!
