Math and Me

During the High School I have never had any problems with math. Granted, I never took precalc or regular calc as I was not able to aquire all the credits and regentes in order to take it in my school (Hate being transfrer student). But with precalc in college I have very hard time keeping up with the professor on some of the sections. What I found out that a lot of classmates have taken precalc before and for them the subject is not that difficult but for others who haven’t this seems a lot harder. For me math is very easy as long as I can understand the basic idea behind solving the problem. But with so little explanation I have to re-read the book and the notes in order to grasp what the section is actually asking me to do. For example the section on revenues was the hardest to me because I could not understand anything from the class for two reasons: We went trough it too fast, and the few examples that we got have not covered all of the information we had to learn. I know that this is actually the way math or other subjects are being taught in college. Professor doesn’t have to give you all the information on a plate, you yourself have to read, learn and understand it. But with my english still not being fully expanded I sometimes have trouble with all of the above mentioned.

And on off topic, I’m very sad. There will be a breakdance competition in NYC where all best Bboys from across the world are going to gather and duel it out, and the tickets for it have just been sold out today. Well they were sold out in first coupe of hours but I was unable to buy them due to me working. UGH. Please support poor me and give in your contributions so I can buy the ticket from someone for x3 the price. GLHF
