On November 16th I attended the “Values, Pressures and Picking a Major” workshop”. In this workshop, the leaders tried to get us to separate our different types of goals and putting them in order from high priority to low priority. They also showed us that besides our own goals that we have for ourselves we have goals that others set for us. For example, what we should become due to our gender, religion race and what our family members want us to become. I think this was a good workshop that opens one’s eyes to many different possibilities and recommend this workshop to all new college freshman.
