Club Fair Workshop

I attended the Club Fair workshop which falls under the category of Student Life Workshop. The workshop was on September 29th, and it was around 12:30 pm that it had begun. I personally liked the workshop as I gathered with some peers and became interested in some of the clubs such as the Accounting club. I also liked the idea of making the club environment an exciting atmosphere by having the radio station there and having entertainment for those interested. I selected this particular workshop because it is good to get involved with the school, and it is said by many that people who are involved have higher chance of becoming more successful and having a higher GPA. The workshop met my expectations, but to a limit. I saw many clubs that were somewhat interesting, but I assumed there would be a lot more clubs available and there at the club fair. I would recommend it to another student because it helps you in the social environment with the interaction among new people, and it helps you gain more self-esteem and determination in joining something extracurricular. I didn’t learn much from the experience or workshop, but that many different cultures work together and enjoy spending time together, and that is important in the Baruch community, and the communities outside of school that we are apart of today. The experience showed that when society with different cultures work together or communicate with each other, it becomes a learning, striving, and exciting environment and atmosphere.
