Section LC09

On November 16^th I attended the “Values, Pressures and Picking a Major” workshop”. In this workshop, the leaders tried to get us to separate our different types of goals and putting them in order from high priority to low priority. They also showed us that besides our own goals that we have for ourselves we have goals that others set for us. For example, what we should become due to our gender, religion race and what our family members want us to become. I think this was a good workshop that opens one’s eyes to many different possibilities and recommend this workshop to all new college freshman.

On November 17^th I went to the Mercedes exhibition art gallery. I don’t enjoy looking at art and found this workshop frustrating. First of all, many people attended and not everyone was about to go in at once. Though I was pretty close up in the line I didn’t have to wait that long, but once I entered a ray of many colors hit my eyes. Her portraits were very colorful yet some very confusing. I did not understand what she meant by some of her painting but then on the other hand, they don’t always have to portray a meaning. I would only recommend this workshop to people who enjoy art, for others it’s a waste of time.

I went to the Sidney Mishkin Gallery on the 22^nd street for the Gallery Tour of Mercedes Matter. Some of the paintings were really interesting. One of my favorites was the abstract paintings even though they were much harder to understand than her previous latent paintings of her childhood.

personally i dont find math wit prof. ivan to be dat difficult. i guess my knowledge in calculus makes class easier for me even tho i still do horribly on quizes cuz wee dont have enufff fcukin time like dats bullshit 15 mins for a quiz. but anyways i like his style of teachin..da teachin fast part i mean..he erases everything dat he just wrote tho which is bad and he never really explains da things he is teachin and he always says we kno better den him wen hes da fuckin teacher!! but yea the webworks shit is fuckin gay too but yea i love mathh woohoooooooooooo holllaaaaa
