What do you think?

I want to know what everyone thinks about the different things that we do this semester so if it’s not a workshop and you still want to talk about what we’ve done. Please do so!

Now let’s posting!

I was also fascinated with Baruch’s Building the first time I saw it. Looking at it from outside it seems almost as if one side of the building is tilting to a side while the other is straight and steadfast. I like to believe that it’s like Baruch’s Culture. We are not about just getting ahead on our own. i’ve realized at Baruch that there are so many people who are ready and willing to help other get to their goals.

Whether it’s the different people within the offices or fellow students. Baruch Students care about their fellow peers.

Well, so far, I’m liking what I see here at Baruch, like in terms of its campus (well I dont know, I may be overreacting but I love the design of the building, I think it’s cool and unique), the diversity of the students, the variety of clubs and organizations. There are a lot of nearby restaurants, which is a positive, though I don’t know half of those places, but in time I’ll find out. I definitely love the library for it’s resources, and for the fact that it is actually quiet like a library should be (I rarely come across libraries like that). I think that, so far, based on our tour, that Baruch wilI be a great place to get used to, and I look forward to getting more involved in school activies and clubs.

You said to post a blog here even if it’s old… sooo far I love all the resources Baruch has to offer with its “campus.” I haven’t been to any other building other than the main VC building and the library. I love how you can just walk around and pick any food types you really want- and get free trident samples on the street! I also find it hilarious that the library so far in the beginning of the semester is really filled with kids napping. The chairs and facilities available there really is comfortable though. I do wish that there were outlets in open desks other thank those pod cubicles. Although there are ups such as the park, there are downs too. I really hate second-hand smoke especially since my throat gets all clogged up and starts to hurt. And i see a person smoking every few steps. Oh and swiping ID cards can be a hassle but it’s for security purposes so it’s all good.

    LC 10!!!
So far we have toured all the vertical buildings associated with Baruch. Thus i am more knowledged about finding my ways around the campus. Also the life around Baruch such as the Madison park and the great eating joints scattered around the campus were great things that we explored in our first weeks. Anytime theres a break you can find me eating or napping at those places. Library tour was a great plus because there are times when i am unable to study at home and i seek for a quiet place where i can be left alone to study or research. Therefore the couches in the library or the personal rooms or cubicles that are provided are a great tools to enhance my learning experience. I am very excited for our LC group to meet shortly so we can really begin to start getting involved in our community.
