I went to the workshop “Let;s Talk About Ethics.” I honestly found it very boring. They taught us about things that we knew already. I felt like this workshop could have been for high school or even middle school kids, not college students. The teachers tried to make it as interesting as possible which was nice, they were fun. But the whole idea was a common sense topic.
The fun part was probably when they had us all stand on opposite sides of the room and asked us questions on certain ethical situations, and we had to alternate sides according to our opinions. The rest was too middle school for college kids: trying to teach a lesson about the difference of right from wrong and good from bad was a waste of time when there are a million other college responsibilites I could have been getting done. Sorry for the harsh opinion :/
It’s ok, there is nothing to apologize for.
Just as during the ethics workshop when they asked everyone to stand on different sides based on your response to different scenarios, everyone is entitled to different opinions and reactions. Some people may feel the exact same way as you do, some may not. But I appreciate the fact that you were honest about it.
