Personal Enrichment Workshop – Basic Interviewing Techniques

I attended this workshop on Monday, and Rona Gilbert was leading it. Basically she talked about the importance of interview skills and little things we could do to improve our chances of getting the job. Some of the things she said were to HAND DELIVER a ‘Thank You’ card, know the company and know important facts and related current events and have a pitch that takes up no more than 40 seconds. She worked with citigroup for the majority of her life; she was in sales and trade. She was pretty helpful, but some of the things she said were common sense. I’m pretty sure i learned at least one thing from her; I forgot what though.
