Coat/Toy drive

Me and two of my classmates decided to help out with the coat/toy drive for our Global awareness workshop. We sat at a desk on the second floor during club hours and waited to see if anyone would donate anything. After about half an hour we were in the same place as we had started in,still no coats or toys. It was then that we decided to take the boxes and walk around and apporach students and ask them to donate to the children. A few people were kind enough to donate, and although they didnt have any toys or coats to give, we did manage to raise a few dollars for the children. We returned the boxes and the money we made to the man who helped out and the proceeds of what we earned were put toward buying a toy to donate to the drive. Although we didnt get much, we still tried our best and ended up getting at least one toy to make a child happy.
