Stress and Anxiety – Personal Enrichment

I went to the “Stess and Anxiety” workshop on November 10th at 1:00 PM.

I definitely left the workshop a whole lot less stressed, since I slept through the majority of it.

The presenter was sort of quirky, but uninteresting otherwise.
The first thing we did was a “raisin exercise” and we had to do some sort of layered physical analysis of it.  I just ate it and snoozed off.

The only interesting part is was when the next presenter entered, and he just happen to be the same height, complexion, and wore the same type of clothing as the previous presenter.  Everyone joked that they were twins, or “closer”.

The techniques they taught us was actually kind of painful; one is where we had to tighten our muscles, and then release them.  It didn’t really feel like I was relieving stress, but I can get how it might work for some people.

But overall, it did do what it set out to accomplish, so I guess its time well spent.
