This workshop was a little strange, not gonna lie. The speaker was trying to be very enthusiastic to lighten us up and get us to participate, but everyone definitely just went because they had no choice. It wasn’t too bad…until she made us all get up. When we did, she gave us a situation and had us go on one side of the room if we agreed and another side if we disagreed with a person’s ethical choice. She would ask us, for example, if we saw a wallet with money on the ground, would we take it or ask around to see if it was anyone else’s. At that time of the day, everyone was tired and we didn’t feel like giving that much energy to such a thing, so most people stayed on one side the whole time, which defeated the purpose of the whole exercise. I didn’t learn much, but the lady made a solid effort to entertain us, which I can respect.

I agree, Kris. Everyone just wanted to get this workshop over with.It had a good point if you acually participted fully in it. I did not really learn anything new, though. It was more of an opinionated exercise, so I don’t think there was much learning. However, it was entertaining.
