Career Exploration Workshop

The career exploration workshop was about educating the freshmen Baruch students, about the different internships that students can obtain through Baruch College. Specifically the unpaid and paid internships students can obtain through the Career Development Center in Baruch. In addition we learned about Leadership Camps of companies that come to Baruch, from companies such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sacs, and the big four. We also learned about how we can find part time jobs and full time jobs through STARR SEARCH. A very helpful site in which students can obtain opportunities for jobs, internships, based on a profile that students create. It also helps students find out about job fairs. Lastly, we learned about writing specific and concise learning objectives and about the different types of resumes.
