“A Doll’s House,” was a play that was being read in the Engelman Theater right in the Vertival Campus that we heard about on the very same day. Since i had read the actual play i wanted to go and see how well the theather would represent the actual theatrics of the play. Although it was not the play in its entirety they did an excellent job in my opinion on potraying the charaters such as Nora Torvalt who was the protagonist of this play. The readers also read with an enthuisatic tone which allowed for a more intereting read. Also at the end of the play the actors remained for any commentary or questions in which they answered how they felt about the play. They all agreed with the allegorical meanings of the play which conveys the oppression of women and how one woman named Nora was able to escape that world. All in all this was one event that I had no problem with attending.
