As an incoming Freshman I am was very nervous and felt a small sense of lonesome. As I searched for a way to get into the School like and club life, I got word of the Club Fair. This was an event where 170 clubs and organizations were laid out in the gym and ready for newcomers. As i walked around I was warmly welcomed by each and every club. My worries melted away as I began conversing and meeting new friends.
This took me out of my comfort quiet zone because of me interacting with new people in such a broad enviorment. This workshop greaty fulfilled my expectations and requirements of college. By the end of the event, I join four clubs and met numerous friends.
Overall, I learned the importanc eof networking adn introducing myself to stranger and leaving as friends. I can take away friends, relationships, confidence, and guidance from this experience.
