Career Exploration-Basic Interviewing Techniques 11/12/2009

This workshop was basically on how to set up a resume and prepare yourself for a job interview. This workshop was extremely relevant because its helpful in learning how to go about applying for internships. They spoke alot about the Starr Center in this workshop which sounds like somewhere i would actually spend alot of time. Alot of us work part-time while attending college and I actually had an interview the evening of this workshop. This prepped me on how i should act on the interview and also to study my resume. At the Starr Center they set up movk interviews and resume workshops which i think is awesome because it prepares us for entering into a career. This is the workshop that I enjoyed second best, most of them usually bore me. The things I learned had everything to do with what I went through on the interview.
